Personality:
Elfnein is someone with a very good sense of right and wrong along with being a hard worker. She will oftentimes stay up for days on end in order to keep researching and working on her own projects. Between her own work with S.O.N.G and personal projects she doesn’t get out often and rarely leaves her lab. Partly because she views not working as a sign of not being useful and a reason to be thrown away by anyone that is using her. So work must be done at all times even if the human body needs sleep and food; if it weren’t for other people around her making sure she eats and sleeps she would just work 24/7 until breaking down. Even if it’s a good thing to work and get projects done, the body needs to rest, something Elfnein is still trying to figure out how to do properly as a normal human being.
Even with all of her extra work and practices she still sees herself as a shadow of Carol, the person that created her in the first place. Her physical body and new life span was given to her by her and due to that and the need to be useful, she overworks herself. It takes lots of people to make sure she gets out and acts like a normal kid from time to time. When that happens she finally sees what people really enjoy in life like karaoke and movies and just enjoying different things. She truly enjoys those activities even if it’s the first time she has tried to have relaxing days off or even down time.
Elfnein enjoys eating noodles and drinking coffee. Mainly because the first real meal she had when taken in by S.O.N.G were a type of somen noodle, and she just instantly loved it and didn’t want to eat much of anything else. Stubborn in that aspect even when she does go out with other crew members to restaurants she only orders noodles or simple kids meals.
When Carol revealed that she was viewing and hearing everything Elfnein was doing due to the alchemic nature of her cloned body. She wanted to be locked away so no one could be hurt due to her; that instead of her own life, other people’s wellbeing were more important and that if she needed to be killed to stop Carol that it would be necessary to take action. The idea of it wasn’t something she wanted to do, but others suffering due to her mistakes was something she couldn’t handle or want to see unfold. Everyone ended up only encouraging her saying it wasn’t her fault and that she was valued and they would stand behind her. Bringing her to tears and seeing that the emotions of others need to be taken into account and not just being thrown away if you’re the problem in the machine.
She’s a bit shy and can’t fight back with physical strength but is able to fight with her mechanical skills and quickly thinking on her feet to come up with action plans. Like instantly using data just coming in from cameras and sensors to create battle plans and finding weak points of enemies. Her strength lies in being adaptable to any type of situation and providing the necessary backup to those fighting. Which is why she takes her back up role very seriously. Knowing when things are off and need to be fixed right away with the symphogear user's equipment, and that hurting people wouldn’t solve anything in the end. There is always a way to do things without hurting others, people are able to connect with each other with words.That there is a lot to see and learn from others and that memories aren’t something that can just be forgotten so easily or burned as fuel.
Elfnein retains Carol’s physical body, though mainly the mole under her eye and the longer hair are what she inherited from her other self. Carol’s memories that weren’t shared with her are not available for her to see or use. Her physical body ages normally and is about the age of a 11/12 year old. Elfnein’s use of alchemy is still limited to more of a tech based system instead of using memories as a fuel.
